2025 Membership guide

A LETTER FROM THE AD

Dear Bobcat Nation,

Whether you’re renewing your commitment or joining for the first time, we’re thrilled to have you as a member of the Bobcat Club. Your support is the driving force behind the success of Texas State Athletics and our student-athletes.

Looking back on 2024, we celebrated incredible achievements—four Sun Belt Conference championships, back-to-back winning football seasons under GJ Kinne, and a national title in hammer throw by Elisabet Runarsdottir, our first in 29 years. Academically, our student-athletes thrived with a 3.26 cumulative GPA and 79 graduates across 28 majors. None of these accomplishments would be possible without you.

As we look ahead, we’re more excited than ever about what’s in store for our Bobcat Club members. In 2025, we’re introducing an all-new giving structure designed not only to support student-athletes but also to create a more rewarding experience for YOU. The new Bobcat Club Excellence Fund will continue to provide scholarships while also offering expanded benefits like academic support, nutrition, and other resources that keep us competitive at the highest level. Every dollar raised through this fund will enhance the overall student-athlete experience and ensure Texas State remains at the forefront of student-athlete empowerment.

But just as importantly, we’ve reimagined what it means to be a Bobcat Club member. This year, it’s all about making your experience more engaging, more exclusive, and more fun! We’re rolling out exciting new perks, including:

  • Gameday exclusives like the Football Fan Tunnel and VIP access to new hospitality spaces inside the Johnny and Nathali Weisman Football Performance Center.
  • Special events like Coffee with the Cats, an invitation to the CATSPYS, and the chance to be paired with a student-athlete for a behind-the-scenes connection to Bobcat Athletics.
  • Plus, our already amazing benefits like priority parking, invitations to the Athletic Director’s suite, and charter travel to away games are still available to eligible members!

There’s never been a better time to be part of the Bobcat Club. Your support makes a direct impact on Texas State Athletics, and now, it also means more ways to enjoy being a Bobcat.

Thank you for your dedication, and we can’t wait to share an unforgettable 2025 season with you!

Go Bobcats!

2024 Year in Review

The Modernization of the

Bobcat Club

Bobcat Club Excellence Fund

The House v. NCAA settlement will enable member institutions to share a percentage of their athletic revenue with student-athletes, starting July 1, 2025. This includes essential resources like scholarships, revenue sharing, academic support, nutrition, sports medicine, and other new opportunities to aid player recruitment and retention.

The Excellence Fund will provide critical funding to support the athletic department's greatest needs, including scholarships and revenue sharing

Contributions to the Excellence Fund, along with your seat obligation, will count towards your annual membership level and Bobcat Club benefits

In a proactive effort to meet the current and upcoming challenges in this new landscape of college athletics, the Bobcat Club and Texas State are restructuring our annual giving program. The annual fund will now be comprised of two pillars – seat obligations and the new Bobcat Club Excellence Fund.

Similar to previous years, donors will still be able to purchase tickets in priority seating sections and the Dan and Cindee Diepenhorst Champions Club by paying the ticket cost along with the required seat obligation. Any annual gift above and beyond seat obligations will now go towards the Bobcat Club Excellence Fund. This fund will be used to offset the costs of the full student-athlete experience, post House vs. NCAA settlement. This includes essential resources like scholarships, academic support, nutrition, sports medicine, and other new opportunities to aid player recruitment and retention.

Both seat obligations and Excellence Fund gifts will count towards your annual membership level and Bobcat Club benefits like gameday parking, Gowens Pavilion and Castro Club passes, travel with the team experiences, and more.

We are also excited to announce that moving forward, all gifts to the M&G Collective will now accrue priority points at the same rate as giving to the Bobcat Club (1 point per $100). Priority points are used to allocate available seating within the Diepenhorst Champions Club, Michele and Benny Boyd Legacy Suites, and tickets to high-demand athletic events (i.e. bowl games, NCAA tournament, road games). This initiative is designed to strengthen our partnership with our collective and reward donors for their support of our efforts to recruit and retain top talent.

These changes are reflective of our commitment to embrace new opportunities that allow us to stay competitive and champion our student-athletes’ success. Together, we can ensure that Texas State continues to be at the forefront of college athletics and put our teams in the best possible position to win championships and develop the future leaders of tomorrow.

PRIORITY CHAIRBACK SEATING

Prior to the 2022 season, Bobcat Stadium underwent a $1.7 million renovation to modernize the lower bowl and improve seating options for fans. Located along the west sideline in sections 101-105 behind the team bench, 3,000 cushioned chairback seats offer a unique vantage point of Bobcat Football. Each chair ranges in width between 19-21 inches and offers increased legroom, providing a more comfortably spaced, fan-friendly game day seating experience. Each seat requires a varying seat obligation, along with the cost of the season ticket, that can be used towards Bobcat Club member benefits like parking and gameday hospitality. All Bobcat Club donors are eligible to upgrade their seating and purchase season tickets in these sections. For more information, visit TXST.com/tickets or call the ticket office at 512-245-2272.

NEW – SOUTH END ZONE LOGE AND
CONCOURSE SEATING

New for the 2025 season is the introduction of loge boxes and café style seating to UFCU Stadium. As part of the newly renovated Johnny and Nathali Weisman Football Performance Center, these new seating options will provide fans with a unique game-viewing experience and one of the closest seats to the action inside the stadium. Along the front of the terrace, each loge box will feature four breathable-mesh, 360° swivel seats around a half-circle table. There are also two larger loge boxes that will feature seating for 10 and include premium, breathable-mesh barstools, drink rail for a convenient place to put drinks and snacks, and cocktail tables. Along the newly built southwest concourse area, premium barstools with a drink rail will be installed overlooking the corner of the endzone. These seats can be purchased individually or as a block.

Each option will provide a balance of comfort and exclusivity with semi-private seating, in-seat food and beverage service, and access to the terrace bar and Warren Room. For information on pricing and availability, please contact the Bobcat Club at (512) 245-2117 or email at BobcatClub@txstate.edu.
