Whether you are renewing your annual support or joining us for the first time, your belief in Texas State Athletics continues to fuel our momentum and shape our future.

With five Sun Belt conference championships, a third consecutive winning season and bowl victory in Football, and a 3.15 cumulative GPA, this past year reminded us what’s possible when vision, commitment, and community come together. Our student-athletes competed with confidence, represented Texas State with pride, and continued to raise the standard – on the field, in the classroom, and across our campus. Their success is a direct reflection of the support that surrounds them.

Now, we stand at the doorstep of a transformative moment.

The move into the Pac-12 marks more than a conference change – it signals a new era for Texas State Athletics. One defined by elevated competition, expanded national visibility, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. This transition positions our programs to compete on a bigger stage while opening doors for our student-athletes that will shape their futures long after graduation.

As we prepare for this next chapter, our focus is clear: invest boldly, build sustainably, and move forward together. We are committed to providing our student-athletes with the resources, support systems, and opportunities they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving collegiate landscape. FEBRUARY 2025

Feb. 18 – Baseball takes down #19 Oklahoma State 4-2 during the Shriners Children’s College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington

Feb. 24-25 – For the first time since 2019, Women’s Track and Field wins the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships, powered by Melanie Duron setting Texas State, Sun Belt Conference, and Sun Belt Conference meet records with a mark of 18.21 meters in the shot put

Feb. 25 – Baseball stuns #1 Texas A&M and wins 7-3 on the road in College Station
MARCH 2025

Mar. 15 – For the first time in program history, four student-athletes (Aiden Hayes, Kason O’Riley, Henry Buckles, and Melanie Duron) earn second-team All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships

Mar. 20 – Director of Track and Field/Cross Country John Frazier is named the 2025 NCAA Division I Indoor Women’s Coach of the Year for the South Central Region

Mar. 31 – Women’s Golf tops the field and student-athlete Yvonne Chamness earns individual medalist honors and her first career win at the Cardinal Challenge in Beaumont
APRIL 2025

Apr. 1 – Baseball defeats #5 Texas on the road in Austin. The 5-3 win tied a program record for consecutive road wins (4) over the Longhorns and marked the first-time ever that Texas State has defeated multiple SEC programs in a season

Apr. 19– Women’s Tennis set the record for most single-season wins (16) and most wins during Sun Belt Conference play (7) with a 4-0 sweep over Troy

Apr. 29 – For the second consecutive week, Men’s Track and Field student-athlete and eventual Sun Belt Conference Newcomer of the Year Drew Donley breaks the 100-meter school record with a time of 10.22
MAY 2025

May 3 – Softball clinches the Sun Belt Conference Regular Season Title after a series sweep at ULM. Sun Belt Player and Newcomer of the Year Aiyana Coleman breaks the single season program records for home runs and RBIs during the run

May 11 – For the first time in program history, Track and Field swept the Sun Belt Track and Field Outdoor Championships, winning both the men’s and women’s titles

May 11-14 – Sakke Siltala finishes tied for second at the NCAA Amherst Regional and punches his ticket to the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship, becoming the first Texas State Men’s Golfer to qualify for the event in program history
JUNE 2025

June 5 – Texas State is awarded the Sun Belt Conference’s Vic Bubas Cup, awarded annually to the conference’s top athletic department, for the second consecutive season and third time in the last four years

June 13 – Men’s Track and Field student-athletes Aiden Hayes and Kason O’Riley narrowly miss the top spot on the podium to tie for second overall in the high jump and the 2025 NCAA Track and Field National Championships

June 30 – Texas State officially announces acceptance of an invitation to become a foundational member of the Pac-12 Conference beginning July 1, 2026
JULY 2025

July 7 – Women’s Soccer student-athlete Nina Norshie competes for the Ghana Women’s National Team in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament

July 14 – Baseball student-athletes Bryson Dudley and Carson Laws are chosen in the seventh and fourteenth rounds respectively in the 2025 MLB Draft

July 21 – For the tenth consecutive season, Women’s Tennis earns ITA All-Academic Team honors. Every member of the team earned ITA Scholar Athlete recognition for the first time since joining the Sun Belt Conference
AUGUST 2025

Aug. 14 Women’s Soccer opens the season with a record setting 9-1 win over Our Lady of the Lake. The nine goals are tied for the third most scored in team history and the most in a match since 2011

Aug. 25 – Women’s Track and Field student-athlete Lauryn Small is named to the first ever All-Sun Belt Conference Community Service Team

Aug. 30 – Brad Jackson and Beau Sparks connect for four touchdowns in a 52-27 season-opening rout of Eastern Michigan
SEPTEMBER 2025

Sep. 6 – Football outlasts UTSA in a 43-36 shootout to mark the program’s first-ever win inside the Alamodome and their second straight win in the I-35 Rivalry

Sep. 13 – Women’s Track and Field student-athlete Lara Roberts represents Texas State and her home nation of Australia in the hammer throw event at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo
OCTOBER 2025

Oct. 11 - Athletics receives a $2 million gift from Mitchell Ward and Pam Wills Ward for a new student-athlete academic center and launches “Light The Star: A Brighter Future for Texas State Athletics” fundraising campaign

Oct. 18 – Women’s Soccer defeats Southern Miss 6-1 and extends their program record unbeaten home conference match streak to fifteen

Oct. 18 – Football student-athlete Treylin Payne records a program-record 24 tackles versus Marshall, en route to being named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week
NOVEMBER 2025

Nov. 6 – Women’s Track and Field student-athlete Abigail Parra is named the 2025 Women’s Sun Belt Cross Country Runner of the Year

Nov. 9 – Women’s soccer captures the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship – the program’s first in over a decade – by defeating ULM 1-0 and earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament

Nov. 12 – Five Bobcats score in double figures and the team never trails in an 80-69 win over UTSA in the men’s basketball edition of the I-35 rivalry
DECEMBER 2025

Dec. 4 – Football signs the highest-rated recruiting class in program history, including the top four individual prospects in program history according to 247Sports’ composite rankings

Dec. 9 – Volleyball student-athlete Jade Defraeye is named an AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention selection, culminating her Texas State career as the all-time block assist leader

Dec. 29-31 – Men’s Golfer Sakke Siltala is invited to participate in the 2025 Patriot All-America Invitational in honor of late Army Staff Sergeant Sean D. Diamond
JANUARY 2026

Jan. 3 – Football defeats Rice 41-10 to win the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl, marking their third consecutive bowl win and remaining undefeated in bowl games in FBS program history

Jan. 28 – Men’s Basketball defeats Marshall 72-68, as head coach Terrence Johnson records his 100th career victory

The Modernization of the

Bobcat Club

Bobcat Club Excellence Fund

As of July 1, 2025, The House v. NCAA settlement enables member institutions to share a percentage of their athletic revenue with student-athletes

The Excellence Fund provides critical funding to support the athletic department’s greatest needs, including scholarships and revenue sharing

Contributions to the Excellence Fund, along with your seat obligation, count towards your annual membership level and Bobcat Club benefits

Similar to previous years, donors will still be able to purchase tickets in priority seating sections and the Dan and Cindee Diepenhorst Champions Club by paying the ticket cost along with the required seat obligation. Any annual gift above and beyond seat obligations will now go towards the Bobcat Club Excellence Fund. This fund will be used to offset the costs of the full student-athlete experience, post House vs. NCAA settlement. This includes essential resources like scholarships, revenue sharing, academic support, nutrition, sports medicine, and other new opportunities to aid player recruitment and retention.

Both seat obligations and Excellence Fund gifts will count towards your annual membership level and Bobcat Club benefits like gameday parking, Gowens Pavilion and Castro Club passes, travel with the team experiences, and more.

These changes are reflective of our commitment to embrace new opportunities that allow us to stay competitive and champion our student-athletes’ success. Together, we can ensure that Texas State continues to be at the forefront of college athletics and put our teams in the best possible position to win championships and develop the future leaders of tomorrow.

WACKER LEADERSHIP SOCIETY

The Bobcat Club is excited to introduce the Wacker Leadership Society, a new giving society which recognizes donors that make philanthropic commitments of $25,000 or more, payable over a period up to five years. This includes gifts to the Bobcat Club Excellence Fund, capital projects, endowments, and sport-specific giving. In recognition of their generosity, WLS members will gain access to an exclusive stewardship program designed to provide unique opportunities and one-of-a-kind Texas State Athletics’ experiences.

The Wacker Leadership Society was created to recognize and steward our most invested Texas State Athletics’ supporters. This group provides critical financial support across our entire department and are vital to our pursuit of comprehensive excellence.

The Dan and Cindee Diepenhorst Champions Club offers open-air, covered, premium reserved chairbacks with an indoor, climate-controlled club lounge. Champions Club Members receive access to an exclusive bar area, catered buffet, carving stations, dessert bar, indoor seating area with televisions, and receive a customized engraved seat nameplate in recognition of their support and contribution to Bobcat Football. Choose from two levels of club seats: Platinum (between the 35-yard lines) and Gold (outside the 35-yard lines to the end zones). PRIORITY CHAIRBACK SEATING

Prior to the 2022 season, Bobcat Stadium underwent a $1.7 million renovation to modernize the lower bowl and improve seating options for fans. Located along the west sideline in sections 101-105 behind the team bench, 3,000 cushioned chairback seats offer a unique vantage point of Bobcat Football. Each chair ranges in width between 19-21 inches and offers increased legroom, providing a more comfortably spaced, fan-friendly game day seating experience. Each seat requires a varying seat obligation, along with the cost of the season ticket, that can be used towards Bobcat Club member benefits like parking and gameday hospitality. SOUTH END ZONE LOGE AND
CONCOURSE SEATING

Introduced for the 2025 season, loge boxes and café style seating have elevated the fan experience at UFCU Stadium. As part of the newly renovated Johnny and Nathali Weisman Football Performance Center, these premium seating options offer fans a unique game day atmosphere and one of the closest views of the action inside the stadium. Along the front of the terrace, each loge box features four breathable-mesh, 360° swivel seats around a half-circle table. There are also four outdoor suite areas: two large cabana-style structures and two larger loge boxes that feature seating for 20 and 10 respectively. Each includes premium, breathable-mesh barstools, an outdoor refrigerator, drink rail for a convenient place to put snacks and drinks, and cocktail tables. Along the newly built southeast and southwest concourse areas, premium barstools with a drink rail overlook each corner of the endzone. These seats can be purchased individually or as a block.

Each option provides a balance of comfort and exclusivity with semi-private seating, in-seat food and beverage service, and access to the terrace bar and Warren Room.
